 OBITUARYDavid Cunliffe Pointer, B.A. 1932 - 2024 We are sad to report the passing of David Pointer, father of Managing Director Adrian Pointer and Chairman of Simply Sports from its inception in 1986 until 2016.
David worked tirelessly in supporting the business, especially in the early years and was a master at spotting the changes that were happening in business ahead of the pack. He was an early adopter of the digital age, and he understood the opportunities that on-line trading could bring. His interest in how the business was performing never waned and his legacy will remain in the success of the business today, and hopefully for many years to come.
